UniSuper has been named Super Fund of the Year for the second year in a row at last night’s 2023 Chant West Super Fund Awards. More than 300 guests from across the industry embraced the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work of the industry over the last 12 months.
In another back-to-back win, TelstraSuper took out the other major award of the evening, Pension Fund of the Year.
AustralianSuper took home Best Fund: Investments, Aware Super won Best Fund: Responsible Investment, and Cbus took home two awards this year: Best Fund, Member Services and Specialist Fund of the Year.
The other category winners were:
• Corporate Solutions Fund of the Year – Australian Retirement Trust - Super Savings
• Advised Product of the Year – HUB24
• Best Fund: Insurance – MLC MasterKey Business Super
• Best Fund: Longevity Product – Australian Retirement Trust Lifetime Pension
• Best Fund: Integrity – HESTA
• Best Fund: Innovation – AMP MyNorth Lifetime
• Best Fund: Advice Services – Australian Retirement Trust - Super Savings
The Chant West Super Fund Awards recognise excellence across 13 award categories and showcase industry best practice to help drive continuous improvement across the super industry and ultimately improve member outcomes.
In explaining this year’s awards theme of ‘making a difference’, Chant West General Manager, Ian Fryer, said that super funds have a real opportunity to make a big difference to the lives of their members when they retire. “From how they invest and advise their members, to the products, services and support they provide to ensure Australians enjoy a comfortable and dignified retirement.
