The Chant West Super Fund Awards not only recognise excellence among super and pension funds but showcase industry best practice in a number of key categories.
The theme this year was ‘resilience’ and in the face of the rapid change and challenges of 2020, Chant West General Manager, Ian Fryer, said that it was heartening to see so many examples of resilience in the award finalists, ensuring that supporting their members remained the primary focus.
“These awards gave us the opportunity to reflect on the significant role super funds play in not only delivering strong outcomes to members in retirement, but also innovating and responding quickly when members’ needs change and the services or support funds provide also needs to change.
“It was wonderful to see attendees enjoy celebrating everything that the sector does for its members and embracing the opportunity to catch up and engage in person after a year of engaging remotely,” he said.
